Besides lawyer + cop, what other jobs requires arguing with hostile people?

I'm not very good at winning arguments against hostile people (ie: school bully, some ahole that took your parking spot that you've been waiting for, co-worker that backstabbed you to climb the politcal ladder, etc).

I figure i would learn faster if i'm immersed in it. Thus i'm looking a part time job that requires arguing w/hostile people.

So what kind of part time jobs are there that require arguing?

You don't need a job to teach it to you. Basically you need to find the line of hostility and aggression that separates legal/socially ok behavior and transgressive insanity. Then you do everything before and up to that line. You don't want to be percieved as a looney kook making empty threats, but you want to transmit to your target the impression that you will royally fvck them in any legal, acceptable way. Leave threats unsaid, but obviously insinuated. Ask threatening questions. A good question is often more threatening than any statement.

Basically hostility is an art, not a science.

Be the guy that shuts off peoples power when they don't pay their bill.

I know somebody who does that.. he's had guns pointed at him before.

Service technician at Best Buy! People get pissed off at you for anything and everything (and its almost always the customers fault).

oh god I'm amazing at what you describe. Hell I thrive. Whenever people start yelling at me I always win the argument. Always.
