Besides iTunes being slow, it also does this

Your problem is that you think the zoom button is a "maximize" button. It's not. You're expecting OS X to work like Windows. If it did, people wouldn't bother using OS X.

OS X and Windows have evolved independently of each other. They have many things in common, but their user bases have grown to like having things work a certain way. People who switch get annoyed because they think the way they're used to having things work is the right way.

Fair enough. I have used her laptop pretty extensively and I don't like the OS. I guess that makes me a PC.

I was actually thinking about buying an iPhone5 when it came out. But then I remembered I'd have to install iTunes and decided against it.

Except the OP is using this in Windows. It should work like every other windows program ever made.

lol. What a troll.

What is trolling about it? I have to deal with iTunes with my dad's ipad and it's horrible. Currently have a droidx and was seriously thinking about the iPhone5 versus importing a galaxy sii. iTunes is such a negative experience that it makes me lean toward the galaxy s... so dunno how that is trolling.

Itunes is horrible. I didn't use it for a few years and then got a free ipod. I thought its been 3 years, Itunes must be fixed by now! I don't think I've been more wrong in my life.

Read the post I was replying to. It wasn't the OP.

I have no idea why Windows would even allow a program to influence the effect of the maximize button.

News for you: iOS5 is PC-free (and, therefore, iTunes-free). You can set up your device without a PC. Backups are stored in iCloud.

Get the phone.

Alfa beat me 🙁

because iTunes for Windows is a high school visual basic CS project. if it isn't, it sure as fuck runs like one.

Does Android even have a music app?

Does Android even have a music app?

All of them are shitty. Music player does a horrible job of managing music. Don't get an android phone if you care about music. They all sound like shit too. I had to go dig out my iPod 5.5 just to listen to music when I had an Android phone.

Now I either just use my iphone 4 or I line-out from it into a headphone amp

My girlfriend has an apple iwhatever laptop, and no matter what program you're using, when clicking the "maximize" button, the window doesn't actually fill the whole screen; you can always see some of the desktop on the edges. It drives me crazy.

Edit: I also use dropbox to share some music amongst my bandmates. They play the music in itunes directly from the shared folder and itunes loads it up with all the friggin coverart files. I hate that, too.

RightZoom fixes that.
