One of the best comments from the above video
"Bernie has been waiting for decades for someone to pass the Progressive torch to and now he has these 3 extraordinary women to do just that." ~Randl Lieb

Maybe Bernie is done and just can't win considering all of the mainstream opposition to his candidacy. As long as there are younger elected officials who take up the fight (that Bernie has stayed true to for DECADES) people who, like me, feel that the Democratic Party should be pushing FDR economic policies as well as liberal social policies have hope for our party going forward.

Great - A bunch of uneducated children endorsed an old man that likes to yell at the clouds.

This is a big time game-changer.

And by big time game-changer - I mean a big time nothingburger.

Erm, if Bernie's not the candidate due to 'mainstream opposition', how do you explain Warren doing so well?

Warren is mainstream Democrat in that she wants well regulated capitalism which is taxed to benefit those left behind. Bernie wants actual socialism.

If you think that moving the U.S. economy more to a European model of regulated capitalism which is not much more left what Warren wants is actually"Socialism" with a capital S in the Soviet Russia style then ok if you want to think that...

Yea we need a more regulated Capitalism. Just look at drug/healthcare pricing as prime example of why.

maybe my facetiousness meter needs rebooting. I thought you were suggesting that Senator Bernie Sanders was very far to the left of Sen. Warren on FDR economic issues. Which I don't believe he is. Although in some areas he is fairly noticeably more left such as elimination of *ALL* student debt.

Bernie is far to the left of Warren. She is for more regulated capitalism with a safety net, he is for actual socialism as an economic system.

I don't see Sanders as a 'socialist'. Where has he proposed nationalising the entire economy? (He may have used the word, but that word has suffered from some sort of 'grade inflation' effect lately)

He certainly seems to be to the left of Warren, but not to the degree you say. It's just graduations of social-democracy.

The story isn't about Trump endorsing himself.

Those endorsements will help Bernie in the primary but only against Warren. Not Biden, Buttigieg or Klobuchar. And they'll hurt in the general election. AOC and Omar are extremely unpopular among independent voters. Nate Silver does a deep dive on the political implications of these endorsements, and as usual, he makes sense.

While Bernie deserves a lot of credit for bringing a progressive platform to the forefront, I personally don't think the US is ready for all of it. He should step aside IMO to let Warren be the candidate. I think she's more palatable to the undecided and some repubs. That's not the best way to look at the candidacy but the more practical way in light of the current state IMO.

Let’s not forget Trump will go right to the heart attack

Bernie is weak and too worried
Bernie is worried we will find out what he’s hiding
Bernie is too sick to serve

I personally don't get why anyone would vote for someone who is 1) 2 years shy of the average life expectancy of an American male, and 2) just had a heart attack. The chances of him dying during his first term are pretty high, and more likely than not before the end of a second term. If you're thinking about voting for Sanders, first pay close attention to who he appoints as VP because you better have confidence in whoever it is.

If you're on the progressive wing of the party, Warren is IMO the far better choice.

Any chance you're going to back up your assertion that these women that endlessly scare you are "uneducated children?"

What does that even mean to you?
