Anthony D'Esposito, a former NYPD officer who is a centrist suburban Long Islander would also be a good choice for Trump....he's been vocal against corrupt and lying scumbag George Santos, he goes against the GOP base in that, but he also has excessive force baggage from when he was a cop in Brooklyn.....

Sorry, no damaged goods.

Yeah, no.
We need to hold these people to a higher standard.

During his NYPD career, D'Esposito received four complaints, including one for excessive force and one for an improper search for which it was recommended that charges be filed against him.[3] He was also reprimanded twice by the department: in 2007, for working as a DJ and serving alcohol in a nightclub without departmental permission, for which he was stripped of 15 vacation days; and in 2015, when he was docked 20 vacation days for failing to secure his firearm, which was stolen after he left it unattended in a car.

You're missing the point. The OP really wants to lick some boots and be dominated, it's the only explanation I can come up with for these threads.

People are actually looking for someone with integrity to be VP under.....Donald Trump?

I mean, if someone like that had inside info that Trump was going to keel over from too many hamburgers, maybe.

Trump doesn't hire people with integrity. He doesn't want someone who has an opinion other than his. At most, he'll be looking for someone like Pence who brings some demographic to vote for him--but make no mistake, whoever it is will be an abject bootlicker. Their greatest skill will be kissing ass with a minor in buttering up. The dept where I work is full of middle managers who excel at this kind of thing 🙂 Nobody else survives working for Trump. Even the bootlickers eventually get shit on, just ask Pence.

Hence why I don't believe Tim Scott will be the one....I think Scott will say privately to himself "I a Black man am not caping for this white criminal"

Byron Donalds, on the other hand, is crazy enough to be Trump's VP.

But D'Esposito feels that putting too much accountability on police is "handcuffing cops from doing their job"

D'Esposito represents the suburban Nassau County area....a lot of suburban whites and Latinos who feel that stop and frisk in Jamaica, Queens and Brownsville, Brooklyn is good to keep crime down and keep crime from coming to their suburban area.

Why not Sarah Palin? It brings the entire GOP base together, the GOP since 2008 has been Palinized...

She is a good campaigner, she is tough on her feet, and she has experience doing this. She would actually refuse to certify a Democrat if they win in 2028---leading to a constitutional crisis.

New York State Senator Alexis Weik would also be a good choice too..She is not too conservative, appealing to Independent and wavering white and Latina female voters and not too moderate, appealing to conservative-leaning cop families. Her husband was a cop and her son is a cop as well....plays well into the suburban Blue Lives Matter crowd.

So, a perfect VP

Palin -LOL
Some State Legislator - fucking delusional
Is this thread serious or just another troll? A poster actually stated Trump appreciates loyalty? Since when is effusive praise and debasing yourself considered loyalty? Trump has no loyalty only servants.

Yea, Kerik, D'Esposito, Weik and Palin would be loyal servants. He wants people who are loyal to him, in fact, most candidates pick running mates who would be loyal or help them win some state or bloc.

Biden helped Obama win the White Working Class that is now Trump-lite, Pence helped Trump win the Evangelical vote in the Midwest, Quayle helped Bush Sr. with the young Gen X vote....

Trump prides on loyalty, Palin gives him that, and Weik is not some "random state legislator"....she comes from a law enforcement family, and Trump is gonna play up that "law and order" canard....
Up until he wins, then rule of law goes out the window never to be seen again.

True, but why don't the white middle class get that? Why don't cops still supporting him get that?
Cops love their qualified immunity, trump wants to make sure they keep it. Cops don’t want to be responsible for their actions, when they mess up they want the taxpayers to pay the damages, not them.

Palin is done, she would be hammered for being a fucking quitter for just one thing.
Yes she is some random state legislator. She doesn't have nearly the visibility necessary to be a VP candidate.

You don't have to have visibility to be a VP candidate---you have to be:
Weik is a charismatic person, and she will appeal to suburban women.

If Trump wants a cop on his ticket: Kerik, D'Esposito, etc.

Trump is seen as the working man's candidate. He can't pick elite politicians.

Delusional

Trump has two paths to picking a running mate:

Reinforcer/Base Appeal:
Jason Aldean, Bernie Kerik, MTG, Palin
Or
Appeal to Independents/Low-Info Voters:
Haley, Tim Scott, Kristi Noem

Aldean would help him with the base, and also with LIV.

Trump's only going to pick someone for VP that he knows is 100% loyal and will be absolutely certain to pardon Trump under any circumstances.

So we're probably looking at Ivanka or Kushner for VP
