Nominating a former federal inmate in the hopes that he promotes law and order is fucking hilarious.Trump's VPs and what they bring to the ticket.
Kerik helps with law and order, Haley and Scott help with the economy.

Same thing with expecting them to improve the economy. Nevermind the fact that it's not actually bad like right wingers say, they're the only ones who have caused a recession in my lifetime.Nominating a former federal inmate in the hopes that he promotes law and order is fucking hilarious.
It is funny to see them desperately searching for reasons why historically low unemployment and 5% GDP growth is bad.Same thing with expecting them to improve the economy. It’s been less funny to watch the mainstream media do the same thing though. If Trump were president we would have an endless stream of mainstream media pieces saying ‘like him or not, Trump has delivered incredible economic growth’.
And this is during a time when we should expect to see a continued decline in labor force participation as the boomers age out.- In yet another deeply ironic twist, inflation is driving labor force participation. You know, preventing lazy people from sitting at home mooching off government tax dollars?
We're basically 1% off the labor force participation rate under Trump ~ late 2019 (Current is 62.6%).

Yes however if equal importance they need to “look” the part.Trump has 2 criteria and 2 criteria only for picking a VP. Whoever kisses his ass with the most vigor, and whoever believes 2020 was stolen from him, or at least, is willing say publicly that they do.
All else is irrelevant.
Yeah, I hadn’t really thought about this before, but our low birth rates and relatively low legal immigration have also helped keep unemployment down. Otherwise, all these boomers and 60+ who continue to work would be crowding out the younger generation for certain skilled positions. Compare/contrast our experience here with other developed countries that have decent life expectancy and higher birth rates and scores of young people leaving because there aren’t enough jobs (Spain, Greece, Italy).- In yet another deeply ironic twist, inflation is driving labor force participation. Now imagine what could happen here once abortion is all but illegal—and it’s primarily lower income groups having more kids.
Biden's approval rating is 37 percent, what are you talking aboutSame thing with expecting them to improve the economy. Nevermind the fact that it's not actually bad like right wingers say, they're the only ones who have caused a recession in my lifetime.
Hm, look at that (from the Gallup source used by Political Wire)Biden's approval rating is 37 percent, what are you talking about

Biden's Approval Rate Slides to 37%
A new Gallup poll finds President Biden’s job approval rating among Democrats has tumbled 11 percentage points in the past month to 75%, the worst reading of his presidency from his own party. This droppoliticalwire.com
Can we also give them a knife? Just in case, uh, they want to whittle something together? We gotta put gothuevos and this guy in a room together for a week. With just a typewriter and some coffee, and unlimited delivery of the NY Post and Fox News on the TV.
Are you describing Trump or the mafia?Trump values loyalty. Kerik was loyal to him after Trump pardoned him. Trump helped him, so he would be loyal.
Friends look after friends.
WTF does that have to do with that I said?Biden's approval rating is 37 percent, what are you talking about

I'd like to add a 3rd criteria, one who's willing to take a fall for the orange shitstain.Trump has 2 criteria and 2 criteria only for picking a VP. Whoever kisses his ass with the most vigor, and whoever believes 2020 was stolen from him, or at least, is willing say publicly that they do.

Kerik and Noem would do that, something Mike Pence would not do.I'd like to add a 3rd criteria, one who's willing to take a fall for the orange shitstain.
Trump has no friends. Every relationship is transactional to him.Trump, he prides on loyalty, friends look out for friends, and friends support friends. I don't know why this is hard to understand or comprehend?
This! I don't know why @GettyRoad thinks Trump has "friends".Trump has no friends. Every relationship is transactional to him.
That attitude is great for informal and even many professional environments, but in govt leadership roles it's called corruption.Trump, he prides on loyalty, friends look out for friends, and friends support friends. I don't know why this is hard to understand or comprehend?
But if corruption is bad why do the police keep voting for it. If democrats want the police vote they need to be corrupt also or else they can’t be a party for everyone. That attitude is great for informal and even many professional environments, but in govt leadership roles it's called corruption.
But obviously, you don't think govt corruption is a big deal given your thread topic.
Most of America is of a differing opinion though.
