Here are three pics to the BEOWULF in it's current configuration.
(Last three pictures listed)

This isn't the final resting place for the BEOWULF, but for now you get the idea. Rack #2 is ready as you see 4 plates missing. I'm waiting for more hardware parts to arrive to mount the motherboards, so soon this rack will be full too. 🙂

So what does everyone think about my racks? It's a litte on the spendy side, but damn they look nice and will stand up to being stacked several units high.

Put away your wood book shelves or whatever your using for a crack rack and PM me if your interested in owning your own. (If any profits are generated from sales is used to offset the power bill from the BEOWULF)

You have one of those too? LOL!! I think my wife has finally accepted it, but not without a little resistance.
She doesn't mind about the BEOWULF as long as most of the power bill doesn't come out of my pocket.

Awesome RACKS! Lanman!

I am working on a 19" enclosed rack to mount all of my pc's and ups's(sp?)
I am currently painting it beige, at the wife's request. It has a plesiglass
front door, a filter on the bottom, a giant fan on the top to draw air in thru
the filter. I will post pics when I get my rack mount cases in the rack and
have everything working.

very cool rack, you should see about getting the local college guys to chip in some cash for a tour for thier IT students and explanation of what it does.
