BEOWULF Addy (need help) - Solved

For anyone out there:

I was setting up another system with the Beowulf address and it wouldn't accept it. I double
checked my spelling to ensure I had the right email address, but it won't work. It keeps
telling me to check the SETI FAQ for more information.

I turned off the proxy settings, pointed it right at the home SETI servers and still nothing.

Any suggestions?

That's what I'll probably have to do for now, but I wish it would just work normally.

One other thing I forgot to mention was the error saying "No account with that email address"

I even looked up the stats with it and it works! :|

I would suggest that you shoot an email to Matt Lebofsky the programmer. If you have trouble locating his email let me know and I will pm it to you 🙂
 
Did you use any capitalization? I find that using any capitalization at all doesn't work, all lowercase works without a hitch.

Humm... now your on to something. I guess I haven't thought of that.

Seeing as I entered it the same as the first system, maybe SETI's servers work better
with lowercase.

I'll give that a go in the AM. 😀

Dasm, I was all excited.

I thought you needed something like my e-mail address to input during SETI installation.

If that is the case, be sure to let me know.
 
Typing the address all in lower case did the trick!!
