Morning! I installed BeOS Personal v5 and all I can get is grey-scale. Seems that BeOS doesn't support this card(Diamond Speedstar A90-16MB AGP).
Has anyone found Diamond or generic drivers?
Thanks!

Thank you...I will go look there now.
I got the card at an online auction new & cheap a month ago and was hoping not to have to swap it out already.

awww...that was a 'no go' also. Looks like I'll have to break down and pop in another card unless someone knows of another way.

Did you try all the tips, about compiling it yourself, and so on? And you might ask at that SDN forum. Maybe people here will be able to help you more. I've never used my Savage4 card (it didn't want to install on my old computer, and now that I have a new one, I managed to get a good deal on a GeForce - unfortunately, it has worse BeOS support than the Savage4).

I guess that's may be where I may have gone wrong then...the compiling it myself thing. I inflated the drivers into /system/add-ons/app_server and it still didn't do a thing for it...still in grey-scale. Anyone have a suggestion of what I did wrong? This is new to me as I am mainly ( uggh! ) a Win98SE user. Tryin' to change..LOL

Look at the comments on the thread I posted a link to, and on the download page of Besavage. It was designed for BeOS 4.5, and works a bit differently in BeOS 5, apparently.
