Benwin Speaker Company

I think Benwin speakers give you the best bang for the buck. I have used a number of their speakers and I have been very happy with them. I'm still using a pair of Benwin speakers I bought back in the P1 era for $16. I dare you to find any speakers under $20 today that sound as good as them. I also have their flat panel speakers which are not too bad.
 
used a couple of pairs of the benwin speakers (can't remember which ones and i am too lazy to look...) they were cheap, but had very good sound quality...
the only beef i had w/ them was the lack of bass, but there was plenty there for all normal sitting at the computer, or being in the room listening (i'm not talking blasting, but comfortable levels)
i myself like the blow the crap out of a room for no reason and listen throughout the house... this doesn't go on like a 3" sub... 🙂
but these speakers worked great, but just keep in mind your situation...
