Bent pins affecting CPU temps

Hello! I am completely new to this forum. A while back while installing my CPU (FX-6300) I accidentally bent the pins. After bending them back, my temps were hitting 65 C. According to some sources, the max temp of the CPU should be somewhere from 60 to 65. Before the incident, my temps were in the 50's. I am currently using the (crappy) stock cooler and I am not overclocking. Any thoughts?

Thanks for the replies! I probably should try reapplying paste and reseating the cooler. Thinking about it, maybe they ambient temps did play a role in this...

Careful when pulling the cooler off (google tips on doing this).

You might want to invest in a decent cooler. the plain aluminum fx 6300 coolers in my experience were very marginal, and have the noisy 70mm fans.

I have no idea on the possibility, but if a pin carrying current had a no connection it's conceivable that temps could go higher. conceivable but prbly not likely.
