BenQ using 9/11 & WTC imagery to sell products

Are you guys positive that's an image from 9/11 because I am not sure. 9/11 is not the first time buildings have collapsed.

The bottom of the building doesn't look like the WTC to me.

I had been there quite a few times, it is.

We should use images from Nationalists vs Communists or the Rape of Nanking to promote U.S. products!!! They will LOOVVEE it!

Wow, I wonder what they were thinking?

Maybe they took a page out of the republican play book.

ZING!

That being said, I think I have a meeting with them in Vegas in January. I'll definitely ask them about this.

Pretty tasteless even for a Chinese company.

I stand corrected. I've lived near NYC my whole life, but I only ever saw the WTC from a distance. I never noticed the bottom looked like that in pictures.

Why don't you leave your racism at the door. It's tasteless for any company. I am surprised that BenQ would be this dumb because they are a pretty respected brand in the US.

it's not like they're using it in a negative way..."Music makes Hope".......hope for americans to not be so sensitive. 😀

Definitely 9/11, not sure about Katrina though.

In my adventures to find out if it was a gal or a guy, I discovered this:

Picha

So not only are the Asians using 9/11 as advertising, they're getting hard just thinking about it.
