Benq G2400WD 24' LCD $290

Got one. Excellent price considering the best other deal on this forum is ~$390 shipped. My current 19" LG was around the same $290 shipped.

I just hope my graphics card can keep up.

P.S. Estimated shipping 1 day... ^_^

This pisses me off, i just bought this monitor a week and a half ago and i paid $390 with shipping!! Now they have it for $290 shipped WTF

How is this monitor for general computing? I'm thinking about picking this up for my dad. He wants a big monitor, but isn't concerned about gaming.

Also, he's using an older ATI 9800 Pro AGP graphics card. Do you think that this card would have enough juice for general computer use? He'll probably be using less than the max display resolution because he likes his icons nice and big.

It should be fine for 2d applications, and it's a very nice monitor. He can increase the DPI or icon size if he's like my dad. (also dislikes high-res... Even 1280x1024 is too small)

Well obviously the LG is bigger... Dunno how else they differ.

I got that much BlueAcolyte

I'm looking for a gaming monitor and wanted to know which would be the better pick.

Monitor is now sold out.

Glad I decided to get one last night. Was considering that $200 24" that newegg had, but that one sold out before I could order. Probably for the best though since that one relied on a $40 rebate (and I try to avoid rebates when possible) and this monitor is much nicer.
