BenQ FP202W Black 20.1" 8ms -$389.99AR

There is a definite lack of reviews on this. The only 'reviews' I saw were basically online versions of the spec sheet with more pictures (ala TrustedReviews). Anybody have this to help us out?

No offense, but Trusted Reviews is NOT a place to get a 'trusted review' of anything. They never state how they test, what they test with, and in what conditions. They're basically rehashing the product brochure.
Talking of gaming, the FP202W is a joy to use when you fire up your favourite game. I?m not a big advocate of the ?response time is everything? myth, but playing a fast moving first person shooter on this screen is very impressive.
O RLY? What game, what settings, what resolution, what hardware?
The FP202W is also first rate when it comes to watching video and to put it through its paces I sat back and viewed a variety of high definition content, all of which looked stunning.
Again: what movies, on what hardware at what resolution?

All said and done, I'd trust a Tom's Hardware Guide monitor review first. 😉

Avoid TN like plague!!!!!!!!!

Any reason why? This seems to be a good response 8-bit panel.

all 20" widescreens ar ethat resolution.

i think this is an ok deal.. there is the viewsonic at costco for $10 more, but well no rebate that is also similar.

i am not sure about this TN vs other type of lcd, i dont know i'm not a huge gamer probably would never notice myself. not even sure what type of panel my lcd has just that its 6bit

So how does this LCD compare to other widescreen LCD's... I was looking at the 21" gateway but this is a lot less money.
