BenQ FP202W 20.1" LCD Mon $299.99 SHIPPED!

I would say not comparable to the Dell 2005FPW as far as viewing angles are concerned. the Dell is an S-IPS panel, which are known for great viewing angles. However the BenQ does have 8-bit color, and possibly less bleeding of the backlight.

Ya, I was basically tied up between this and a ViewSonic VX2025WM, which is $50 more.

Any opinions on which I should get?

And doesnt buy.com have a better pixel policy than Newegg?

I dont own any of the monitors you mentioned, but I hear the viewsonice has some problems displaying color, color bending etc. May be want to check the reviews of the viewsonic before jumping on that. The benq on the other hand has nice reviews and I didnt read any complaints other than that the height cant be adjusted. But these days why do you think they ship bulky phone directories for free?

yeah, I'd go with the Benq as well, for the reasons greenwar mentioned, as well as the better 'pixel experiences' users have had. Over all, it's a much better value for the money.

Yeah, I'd like to hear some opinions on this monitor compared to the Dell 2007fp, because you can find those brand new on Ebay for just a few bucks more ($325ish). Just curious how they stack up next to each other.

Crap, every tim eI see a good deal mentioned here for a 20" LCD it is always a widescreen... If I wanted to watch movies on this screen I'd get a TV. If I wanted to multitask on this screen I'd get a dual 19" setup which would give me way more real estate.

I have a Dell 2005fpw and while it has its appeal I really miss the 4:3 screens. I am looking for a solid 20" one now...maybe even 2 of them
