I dunno. Most athletes that have surgery by James Andrews recover in less than 12 months, although it can take up to 2 years to be 100%.

I guess you're right, since he's a quarterback, he might be back in 12 months. That still would make it very late next year.

Also, it still could be only PCL/MCL tear which is a lot less severe, he could even be back early next season.
