First of all let's get the obvious out of the way, what's up with all the old farts on ATOT???

🙂

What exercises did you do, what was your routine, did you alter your diet at all?
No idea about (other) "old ATOT farts" . . . (personally) I have been YOUNG a long (long) time. 😛

High intensity aerobics with light weights at least an hour a day for a minimum of 5 days a week (got rid of 35 lbs in less than 5 months).

I cut out all refined sugars (no soda) and fried foods and substituted "live" foods (more salads; but I am also not vegetarian anymore).

Exercise with a bad diet is tiring . . . for hi-performance, you need hi-perf "fuel". 😉

Are you sure she didn't say _cub_? Afterall, with the wolf avatar perhaps she's using you to get to your kids. They must be old enough by now to date 😀

Nope . . . no kids in my den - ever.

And she was quite clear about the club implications. 😉

My wife's resting pulse is 90.

That's what you get when you're chronically ill, although her heart rate has always been high; even when she was younger and in good shape.

Ouch!

Although at the extreme end of 'normal' it's a lot of work for the heart . . . does she take medication for it?

What kind of chronic illness will push the heart rate up?

No she doesn't take meds for it. Her BP is not high and generally under 120/80.

She has chronic headache pain 24/7. It's probably not the illness that pushes up the heart rate, it's just that with the illness she can't excercise.
