Bend pins on a Duron-CPU???

Is there surposed to be to rows of bend pins on the Duron-CPU?

If YES:
How the he.. are you then surposed to get the CPU into the socket?'

Any ideas..?
 
Oh gosh! Absolutely not! 🙁 (I'm looking at mine by the way...)

Is this something you ordered and just got delivered? If so, unless you're brave and have the patience to bend them straight, I'd send it back... :|
 
definately not... send it back!!!

it is possible to straighten them out with a knife or simething similar, but it's a real pain in the rear end to do it.. they have to be absolutely straight for it to fit in the socket
 
You guys are GREAT... The best... Prima (if any of you knows german)...

I bend the pins back using a simpel kitchen knife! And now the lever is closed and the CPU fits just perfect!!!!
