benchmarking with RTCW

most of the time the~ key gets you in but try the software forums bro surely the gamers there know😉

That only works with the RTCW MP test so instead use thecheckpoint demo which works on the full retail RTCW. To run it:

-Download the demo (Google should have it).
-Make a folder called Demos in the Main folder inside RTCW.
-Launch the MP version and type:

~
timedemo 1
demo checkpoint

When it's finished hit ~ again and you'll see your average framerate.

BTW if you have the game patched to version 1.3x you'll need to rename demo's file extension to get it to work.
