I'm starting to think its time for a new mobo/processor

Yes a little low. I'm on a TBird 1.1 w/ 512MB, GF3 Ti200 stock speeds and I'm getting 29/77 at 1024x768.

God, I love my new computer.

1024x768
Flyby: 200.307907
Botmatch 70.652313

BTW, this is the 1st time that it worked. Right before that my computer rebooted. Everytime before that I got some error. Anyone else have this problem.

Looks like the Flyby is fillrate limited, and the botmatch is CPU limited. If I crank up the resolution on either one, the botmatch score remains the same.

Ok, here it comes:

Setup see below...all 1024x768

Without everything: 125/47
2xAA & 2xAF: 74/43
QxAA & 1xAF: 105/46 <=perfect setup for me, even 1xAF pays, looks far better than without AF. Quincunx AA consumes only 1 Frame compared to 2xAA, so I stick with that :)

GF3 Ti200 @ 200/470

Anyone else think the Botmatch is seriously CPU limited? If I turn up my vidcard OC the Botmatch score goes down... turned on the Quincunx AA, got 53/38. Yikes!!

EDIT: I just noticed the advanced settings menu works the same as UT does. Pull down the console with the ~ key and type preferences. You will have many more options to play with including setting detail levels higher than the "normal" that is available through the standard menu. I have to play with them to see if they actually do anything.

Mighty intelligent bots ;)
Try playing them in "Bomber Run". Even in Adept skill, they pretty much stink at it. The AI is pretty good overall - which is a hard balance to achieve between the AI being inhumanly good (particularly with the sniper rifle/lightning gun) and being totally stupid. I'm impressed with the Bot AI overall. But I was very surprised at their skill (or lack thereof) at the Bomber Run game.

No. He's using a beta version of the real game (presumably with the high res textures and the rest).

I am glad to see someone get up there. I thought that maybe something weird was going on. I hit 200 at 70. Everyone else seemed slow. I guess that the 2.8 CPU with 1024 of Rambus helps.
