I'm looking for some good benchmarking software to test out my first OC. I've seen all sorts of terms thrown around (3DMark06, Superpi, some other stuff I can't remember right now), but I have no clue what would be good or necessary.

Basically what I'd like to do is run a few benchmark tesst on my system - Processor, Memory, GPU - then test again after playing around with the OC settings a little bit to see if I actually gain anything. I'm a total noob with this stuff, so I appreciate your patience.

Links to the software and maybe even a write-up (or a link to a write-up) on the basics of the software would be very much appreciated.

Thanks,
Bob

EDIT: I've already taken a look at the OC stickies, but they seem to be more for stability testing which I will be doing as well and following those instructions.

Thanks, what about for Graphics? I searched for 3dMark06, but apparently it costs like $20. Anything similar that is free?

Oh. Thanks very much for that. I was looking at the m3Mark06 manufacturer site.

So superpi and 3dMark06 should be a good combo for benchmarking my system and tracking changes, is there another tool out there that will be beneficial to me as well?

Thanks very much again for the assistance.
