Benchmarking HL2 & BF2

I want to run benchmarks for HL2, and BF2 so I can see how my OC's change my fps. How do I properly run benchmarks similar to the way AnandTech does in its reviews? I have fraps.

HL2 has some benchmarking tools/timedemos...but...yeah thats all i know...find those
