I want to know what program i can use that effectively benches hard drives esp since mine is setup in a RAID 0 and want to know what MB/s, access times and everything on them, and i tried to look on Everest and said that if i ran the tests i lose everything on my drives, i cant afford for that to happen, any tools i can use to bench it and compare it against summin else?
thanks

hd tach/ hd tune. also they will show the raid0 to be almost twice as fast as a single drive. the real world performance would be close to 0

That seems quite unlikely. If you accidentally left out the word "difference", it'll depend on how you define "performance". Loading/saving big files should be speeded up by going to RAID 0.

400gb single platter, interesting. Good to hear things have worked out for you.
