Blah no biggie...I hardy ever read those things cover to cover... but for a first timer it's pretty important and much value can be had.

Check out sections starting in chapter 5 with 5.1 "installing the operating system" 🙂
 
Someone suggested to install the video driver last. What I do is I make a ghost image of the fresh installation wihtout SP pack ore anything else. If I make something the sstem doesn;t like, I restore the image and try again 😛

Yeah I would uninstall the video drivers and teh via, then reapply the via drivers first. The display drivers should almost go in last.
 
I applied the 4.51 via drivers after everything else, and my scores went up a LOT !
 
I went ahead and updated the VIA driver and of course it worked. The change was like night and day, and then night and day again.

New Benchmarks:

Final Fantasy 11: 7698 (High) 8286 (Low)

Aquamark 3: 69,894 @ 69.XX FPS
