benchies for the 7800 512 and the x1800 512?

does anyone know where i can find some benchmarks comparing the new 7800-512 and the x1800 512 side by side? im considering a upgrade from my current set up of 7800's and was curious how that new ati hog performs since its a heck of alot cheaper than the 7800-512 will be. thanks again guys!!!

You don't need benchmarks.

Known fact: GeForce 7800 GTX 512MB is faster than a Radeon X1800 XT.

If you want the "fastest", go with the GTX 512MB. If money isn't a problem, that is.

As far as I know, the GTX is faster in all benchmarks, but the ATI is better for price/performance and features like video encoding. Also note that the X1800XT is much louder than the GTX.

7800gtx 512...and 256 for that matter, has more pipes, which MIGHT come in handy for future games, or so i've heard.

Just do a Google search. From what I've read the 512MB 7800GTX is the faster card but not in all benchmarks, and in some the X1800XT actually beats it (FEAR if I remember right).
