Wow, there are so many ways to prevent that from happening.

1) Use adjustable dumbells instead of a bar
2) Have a support cage that you can drop the bar on if necessary
3) Have a spotter
4) Not lock the weights

LOL and is that an oil tank in the background? This could have ended SO badly lol. With that much weight that whole bench could have easily fell backwards especially with him in that position trying to get them off and it would have ripped through that tank like a knife through butter. What an idiot for putting that much weight and not having a spotter lol.

I would only put that much weight on an olympic style bench and even then I'd want it bolted to the concrete.

Yeah, once the guy started screaming and no one was coming I had to skim the timeline to make sure he got out of it. Doesnt seem funny at all. Never understood why people use clips when they have no spotter.
