I am not a professional painter, I have done a lot of painting in my life so I have some experience.
Kitchen needed a refresh, the Behr paint was looking faded. I got some Ben Moore Aura paint their premium paint and the stuff is great.
Consistency is perfect, not too runny, not too thick.
great coverage however my color is very similar
The claim that is holds/shows color better seems true in my opinion. Hard to describe and pictures don’t show it but looking at it is more interesting for some reason. Kind of like when you first got an HD TV, the color just feels better. I really don’t know how to describe it but it is noticeable.
*admittedly it’s not the exact same color and old paint has faded*
I highly recommend Aura paints

I know the wall looks crappy in this spot but it’s not very noticeable when inside the room. I didn’t want to bother patching. 1960 house and per an original owner the guy who did the ceilings & walls was a drunk. Probably did this after a liquid lunch.

Aura is good stuff. I used it when I painted my kitchen/eating area a red color. I figured it'd be worth it with more "difficult" colors to do right. I used Regal for everything else (blues and light yellows) which came out great as well.

Good call.

just noticed and I’m not sure how I missed this from first painting until today. I have Almond & Ivory plugs & switches.
Probably going to change them to white over the winter unless I forget….
