The good doctor is certainly getting his feet wet at HUD and now it has come to light that his family members are too involved at the agency despite being warned by lawyers over ethics violations.

Here at club Republican we don't need no stickin' ethics panel. America's party for sure. I wonder what other gems will surface surrounding Ben seeing that his/the R's telemarketer just got caught with their hands in the cookie jar. But the right wingers will say this is just Democratic party pooping and that God has ordained them to behave this way....right?:p

I think he's just following Trump's example at the WH.

The really bizarre part is that is Trump's ethics panel coming down on Carson. The real, honest ethical watchdogs all quit already-much like the decent people at the DOJ, FBI etc are doing now.

Dude has a picture of Jesus and himself on the wall of his house. He's a crackpot. Hard to say out of him, Pruitt, DeVos or Rick Perry who is the most unqualified to head their particular department.

Just how much sh*t has to show up on the shoe before people will open up their eyes and see what is before them?

Learned it by watching Trump. You think that googly-eyed circus freak that lies from the WH podium every day would be where she is if her last name was Smith?

Fair to argue he’s taken it to a whole new level, particularly since we are talking about the executive branch here.

I dunno. His kin are aides.for the most part. Thats small potatoes compared to JFK putting his brother in as Atty General.

If they can do the job, I honestly dont care about nepotism. My complaint is it seems the GOP pretty much ONLY employs family members of the least competence.

Ivanka. Eric. Jared. Donald. etc.

I'm sure you are aware that anti nepotism laws were enacted specifically because of that, right? So bringing up Kennedy just makes you look ignorant.

Well from what I've been seeing how Trump and the Repubs have been "governing" the nation, ethics and morals have absolutely nothing to do with good "governance".

Now let me be clear about what I see as far as what Trump and his ass-sucking Repub pals in the House and Senate consider "governance" to be: It's the dismantling of all of the protections and guarantees that the Constitution and BOR have afforded the common folk of the nation in order for the very wealthy to run the nation as they see fit. Nothing more, nothing less.

Trump has installed totally unqualified sycophants like Carson, DeVos et al and all of those Wall St. rip-off artists, banksters and privateers that he has commissioned with orders to run rampant against those specific gov't agencies whose stated purpose is to provide cover for the working class by keeping in check the very folks that Trump and his appointees are confirmed and active members thereof.

That Trump's working class supporters are so blind to this is a really amazing thing in that they're giving Trump and his ilk free license to rip them off (as well as the rest of us) at will and they're cheering him on for doing it to them.

W.T.F.?

The Republicans are really asking what are ethics and morals and why should we even care?

Laissez-faire all over again just like it was before pesky Democrats enacted laws to protect the common man. I learned this in college which is another reason that Republicans aren't really interested in furthering peoples education. Can't have the base turn away after becoming enlightened.

His fake Christians are just beyond belief yet even real Christians have been conditioned to accept them as legit (not this one!). A Christian should be a doer of the word and a hearer only and should also flee from the appearance of evil. The current clown car embraces it like its en vogue.

Its a sad state of affairs right now and the appearance lack of morals and ethics is just screaming at them yet they gleefully turn a blind eye and jump off the cliff of moral and ethical decency with them. Church people are the worst at this and will do whatever church leaders suggest that they do all in the name of God.

If some of them could just be bothered to read the word they would immediately abandon ship and never listen to another preacher again as the money changers control organized religion and they have for many decades. We are in the middle of what 2 Thessalonians calls the great apostasy as the majority of Christians have bought into these heretical teachings. Their love of money supersedes all else and it really shows.

Yup I realize that. During the Kennedy years there were nepotism laws in place, but the Kennedys didnt violate them. Now, there are nepotism laws in place, but Trump did not violate them either. The DOJ has already spoken about this.

Yea but there is something called moral and ethical behavior which Trump doesn't even know how to spell much less conduct.

I couldn't believe he was even appointed after his statement about the pyramids being filled with grain.
