not a bad idea...

Hey, that might taste good even though I am for gay marriage rights.

Of course, I don't even know if Ben and Jerry's is sold down here. I don't think I've ever seen it.

Where do you live? I thought it would be sold everywhere. I don't think I've ever been to a large grocery store that didn't carry it.

Assuming your profile is correct, this is the closest Scoop Shop:
http://www.benjerry.com/northshore/

You may also go here, click on a flavor, then enter your zipcode to find the nearest store.

Mississippi Gulf Coast. Most of the ice cream in my grocery store is Blue Bell. I think we have some Dairy Fresh too.

Just get Blue Bell. There's no reason to buy any other ice cream anyway.

This and only this.

Fixed

I had delusions of hijacking a Blue Bell truck as I was driving back to California from Austin.
The only people I have found that don't like Blue Bell are Oklahomans.. *shrug*

Because they support gay marriage?

As someone who supports gay marriage and has no interest in their product, it's odd for an ice cream company to have a stance on a controversial subject.

Some people are going to stop buying their product and they took that risk.

Ben & Jerry's has always been very active in supporting causes they like. This is nothing new.

Okay, well, they can support any cause they want. It may not be smart business, but there's no law requiring it. They've lost at least one customer already.

He said he doesn't buy it anyway.

I also find it humorous someone who seemingly defends this country with his life based on his signature wants to stand in the way of freedom and the values this country was founded on. Interesting.

I thought B&J's was shit, and yea this makes me stay away more. The grandson of B&J's founder is a raging pinko Nazi environmentalist, so this is just extra bad.

Sorry bigot, "freedom of marriage" is not specified anywhere in the constitution/bill of rights.

How do you know what the "principles" of this country refer to if you can't even make that distinction?

If you don't like it, buy some and burn it! The devil's ice-cream!

It's a free country, do not buy their products if you do not support their views. It's pretty simple. I do not buy their products because they have awful selections and are overpriced.

All I can do is pity anyone who would boycott an ice cream company for supporting marriage equality. You have sad lives.
