Linked for your pleasure....

I have been looking for a while for a good deal on a UPS. If you own a computer that is over 5-600 bucks I would recomend getting one. These will obviously filter out spikes, Brown outs and Power Outages. With prices like these why not??? I plan on putting 2 machines on this unit. Just 2 computers, no monitors. I hardly get power outages but I flickers in the power every now and then.

BestBuy has this on sale for 119. Plus Free Shipping and a 50.00 Rebate = 69 bucks!

Also the 1200VA has a $50 rebate as well.

YES!!!!
I've been suffering along using two 280va units on my rig (see below).......barely get 2mins run time and multiple power flickers usually cause my system to reboot.

Thanks.

Hehe, it was funny. There was a power outage in my apartment, it was all dark and quiet, except for the buzzing fans from my computer and the glow from my monitor. Do these have USB linkups?

Answered my own question.

Hey, to me that is a good deal and my brother who is saling these stuff say that is good price but Belkin is not a very good name. If I haven't have a UPS for my PC, I would get the 1200VA. That looks good. I preffer to play a little more $ to get a good one.

A couple of months a go there was a snow storm and my entire neitherborhood was out black. Except my room. LOL. My sister came down and was like "Why is your light still on" when everyone have to use candle. For a min there it fooled her that we have power back.

I have 2 UPS in my room. 650 and 400. The 650 is mostly use for computer. The 400 is for the light, phone and stuff. Anyway, if this deal were with APC, I would buy it for other stuff in my house. Like the living room light. Too bad there isn't anything powerful enough for TV. Well, powerful and cheap enough.

Ordered mine today online for store pickup. It was ready for pickup within a couple of hours.

Picked the unit up, took it home, and had a unpleasant surprise. The unit had been opened, unpackaged, used, and scratched.

Called the bestbuy store where I did the pickup....they want me to ship it back to bestbuy.com at my expense with a letter explaining what happend. I "should" then receive a store credit in 4-8 weeks, including my shipping cost, so I could buy a replacement item. What total BS.

As a FYI, my parents bought a laptop directly from the store......it was shipped to a company in Maine.....BB has my parents money and won't give it back until they get the laptop.....my parents live in WA.....nice eh?

Sorry to rant...... going to report to the BBB, WA State comerce comittie, and etc....

anyways....it looks like a good unit. 🙂

I was having the same debate weather the Belkin was good as the APC, but I got the 800VA belkin from OD and
it has worked great so far... not disappointed at all..

I live in Florida, so I guess I'll see it in action next thunderstorm season.. (or is always thunderstorm season down here.. )

Good unit, good price..

I use the 800VA .... i like it a lot 🙂 hasnt failed me yet, left my computer on over winter break (3.5 weeks) ... and the history feature in the software showed that dorm power really sucks.... lol

I have two of the 1200va Universal models...they are outstanding and a bargain compared to APC. I also have a 650va Gold Series ups from Belkin, but I like the Universals much much better than the more expensive Gold line.

Try here ($99.99 for 800va, $99.00 for 1000va,$129 for 1200va): Harmony Computers
