Belkin KVM odd question

Don't think you can as far as I know - I've got one and there's nothing in the manual or on Belkin's website about disabling the beep

It's a Belkin OmniView 2-port USB KVM "SOHO Series" with audio passthru

My computers are not the issue as it's the unit that makes the sound (it's supposed to) to let you know (duh thanks) I switched computers.

I have a beeper too! I think this one (2-port SOHO) even beeps when there is no power to either of the machines connected to it. It annoys a whole lot of people at work. Thankfully, it's not in my office.

ROFL, rob im with you 😉 I have KVM's switces in dads office and here in my room, i hate the beep but as to my knowledge no such way to get it out, unless....unless we could open the switch up and kill the speaker? hmmm😕

i can't see how that minor beep every now and then can be so annoying unless you super multi-task between the two computers all the time. just open it up and use some masking tape to hold some cotton or other such material over it.
