Belkin 800VA UPS for $20 after $40MIR and PM

I'm also looking for UPS. How do you get the MIR when purchase from Statpes as the rebate says COMPUSA on it?

Uhh.....you're supposed to buy it at compusa and pricematch *to* the Staples price.....

But be aware this price may not be available in store.....you should call first....

This is a sweet deal... do you know if CompUSA will pricematch before or after the rebate. Meaning, if I show them the staples ad, they may say "We'll give you the same price without the rebate." or "We'll reduce the cost before the rebate but the final cost after rebate will be equivalent to the other store."

I would hope they wouldn't do this as it's a manufacturer's rebate... but it is a rebate only for CompUSA purchases which may explain why their prices are higher than other stores. Maybe I'm wrong.
 
I guess I'll just ask and if their's a problem then I'll just buy it and then take it back tomorrow without the rebate in hand and show them the staples ad.... assuming they have a 30 day pricematch option.
 
Good luck getting CompUSA to pricematch Staples online price...

The easier route is to order online. Buy something else like the Belkin Wireless G router which is $9.99 after rebate. This will get your cart total above $150 to qualify for the penny shipping. Then use the online pricematch request form to match Staples.com price. Your final total will be $30 + sales tax for the items you have ordered after rebates and pricematch. Details below...

$20 + $25 bonus so really it's 1 $45 rebate for the router, not as bad as you make it sound.

$40 rebate for the Belkin UPS.

I've ordered mine because the rebates are only good through today, so if you snooze you lose... Their online pricematch form says they'll respond with 24 hours. So, if they don't then you can always cancel your order. I doubt it will ship anytime soon because it's the weekend anyway, so it's pretty safe. As far as pricematching Staples.com, CompUSA's online pricematch form has Staples.com in the drop down box, so they will honor Staples as a valid pricematch company.

 
Oh yeah, and 1 rebate accepts a copy of the original receipt, the other requires the original so everything's kosher on the rebates too.
