Hey guys,
Not sure if this is a great deal, but I was in need of one and came across this. It claims to support whole systems, including up to 21" monitors! It should based on the power rating. It has 6 outlets (2 Surge & 4 Powered). Hopefully this is a good deal for someone out there looking for one of these. I ordered one, rebate expires 10/31/2002.

What's rather strange is in their description they say it will support up to a 21in monitor but in the features section it says it will support up to a 19in monitor or a 21in flat panel. I would tend to agree with their first claim because I'm using a 500Va UPS and I have a 19in monitor and I've never had a problem.

Seems to be a pretty good price.

Heheh, good timing.

My 280VA (dont' laugh, it works) battery is failing. I'm running the system and monitor below on it....used to give about 2 min run time before shut down...but now it's beeping battery needs replacement and runtime is less than 30 sec.

Time to put something better in. hehehe

Also, the little 1ft extension cords, that are shown as $2.99 each, are $3.99 each. The $2.99 price is only if you order 5 of them.....they don't state that anywhere on the site.

I'd get one of these but I got the APC 1100 about a month ago. the USB connection would be nice though...windows doesnt detect my APC with the serial port...

Sorry about that Souka... I guess with the shipping, it doesn't come to such a good deal. Those UPS's are pretty heavy though, so I'm not too sure if that is an expensive price for shipping...

Yeah, sorry if a little heated. The sales rep was trying to sell me inkjet cartridges and monitor wipes instead of answering my question of "What will shipping cost?" Add that plus the misrepresnentation of pricing on the 1ft extension cords.....ugh.

Weight is about 40lbs.....so no big suprise I guess.


Might pickup two smaller deals floating around here....1 system, 1 monitor.
