so i guess they didn't get the memo that all the GW data is fake.
LOL
I don't think you can truly call these people anarchists because they are completely reliant on government for education, transportation, and probably sustenance. True anarchists would be in the hills somewhere being self-reliant. I'm sure these people believe whole-heartedly in CAGW and the associated agenda, but let's be honest - they are going to violently protest any gathering of politicians and/or world leaders meeting for any purpose. If the world leaders were meeting to work out the details of making the whole world a collectivist utopia by Easter, these same people would be protesting, breaking windows, and burning automobiles. It's what they do.

I am not a denier that the world is warming up (the amount that human activity is contributing to it is a topic for another time), but it amazes me how worked up people get over the issue.... turning to violence and rioting.

Tossing stones at civilian police officers trying to keep the peace is not my idea of how to bring about change in climate policy.

Setting fires does wonders for the level of carbon in the atmosphere!

Religion of peace.

It does not take much for a crowd to get cranked up enough to set fire to cars and throw bottles. People did that when IU won the NCAA championship 1987.

agent provocateurs cops = lowest form of scum and just as stupid.

The one of canadian cops wearing not even bothering to change out of cop work boots is epic. the whole crowd turns on him instantly and his cop buddies drag him off to safety while people lol at him.

the "believer" v. "denier" labels are really the only interesting thing in this thread. There's no label that applies to those who recognize the holocaust as historical fact. The Denier label is a pejorative for those who contradict established reality. Not really different in this case.

What really should be highlighted are the extraordinary police powers that the Danish police were given before the conference. It makes Eritrea look civil. The Danish police can detain anyone they even suspect of breaking a law in the future. Imagine what will happen when the far-right completes their takeover of mainstream Danish politics and gets to use this law against all minorities and others they deem to be undesirable.

We were trying to burn down LA in celebration of the Lakers winning a championship. So yes you're right, it doesn't take a whole lot to get a big group of people to start destroying shit.

Global warming is a scam whose sole purpose is to steal money from the government for bogous projects that produce no improvement in the environment.
