Paris Hilton and even our own Aristocrat420 are great examples of how useless/arrogant the rich are.

While I agree we should increase taxes on both the wealthy and even more so on the super wealthy, this viewpoint is both ignorant and counter productive. The super wealthy contribute nothing? Bill Gates has contributed nothing? Steve Jobs contributed nothing? Warrent Buffet has contributed nothing? Larry Ellison has contributed nothing? Charles Koch has contributed nothing? Michael Bloomberg, Jeff Bezos, Sergey Brin, Larry Page, Steve Balmer. No, these guys have never worked a day in their collective lives. America would have been so much better off without them.

A perfect example. The public basically forced him to up the PR through donations to charities and suing his ass for monopolistic practices.

Rich folks don't give/spend money, unless it servers their interests to get more money or keep up the hustle.

That's why they are rich.

Do you really think Bill Gates innovated? He was a software thug that stole others work and labor to get where he is.

It would be a interesting world if people who usually are so critical of the poor to be the same way to the rich, instead of lionizing theft and corruption.

This is why the myth of capitalism is a class warfare scam. Same as it ever was 500 years ago.

The "free market" fundamentalism is pseudo-religious nonsense, passed down to the serfs from our lords of industry trying to keep up the scam.

You clearly have no idea how much money the rich have. If the super wealthy 1% was taxed out of existence, that would simply mean that their excessive wealth is now better distributed. The government does a lot of things poorly, but taking money from one man and splitting it among many men is ultimately a net gain for society, no matter how inefficiently it is done.

Correct. They don't have to do any physical work. It's a choice some made to do labor for a living, but it was always a choice. Unlike the many slaves, who had no choice at all.

The fact that so many choose to pick apart this minor detail instead of arguing against my basic premises shows just how brainwashed people have become.

You don't even care the the rich born into wealth basically live as kings while the poor are their slaves, but you care that I implied some minor detail that isn't true. You are just hopping at the chance to defend your rich masters so that perhaps you can somehow gain their favor in the future.

Yes money is just another form of power. Even government and sovereignty is at the whims of money, for now, such as in Europe. The times are actually more interesting than alot realize.

Historically its a bit dicey, nothing good ever came of finance becoming a large chunk of the GDP. Reminds me of Great Britain when America seceded 🙂 They were on the same trend of finance rising as a portion of GDP, meanwhile their economy was actually doing nothing and the world sensed weakness and pounced 😛

Kings had power way beyond money.
 
We need over 100% tax rates on super wealthy WHITE wealth. They can avoid a wealth tax by showing that their money isn't just white colonial money, those people need their wealth actually removed, not just the rate of growth slowed. If they are just super wealthy but were self-made or immigrated after the founding of this nation, then just very high tax rates to slow the progression.

The white man's burden needs to actually become a reality, not something they just pay lip service to while they horde gold like a dragon at the top of the mountain.
