My only problem is which game to play.

yeah it does suck. but at least as a adult you can afford to buy those games you never play!
thats a good dose of irony...now that i can afford them, i don't have the time nor attention span to play them.
Boy does this hit home :(
Well it depends on your lifestyle.
Having been smart enough to never get married or have kids, I got lots of time on the weekends and a little time during the week.
What I do with my free time is my choice. Sure I like going up into the mountains with friends once in a while, but I cant do that every week. I can do laundry and clean the house in between rounds of Unreal Tournament. Sometimes we need to just sit and veg out for a few days.

Like ballmode said, being single is a big factor. During those infrequent and short times when a woman is foolish enough to be with me, I usually have very little free time, especially for childish and immature things like video games.
Then the nookie stops and I dump her or become irritating and she dumps me.

This sounds pretty much like what'll be going on with me in a couple more years. And fairly similar to me right now.

Although I got a job now, and my free time and desire to play games has dramatically dropped. Before college got out for summer I was clocking 25-50 hours a week via XFire, heh. Granted a good 10 hours of it was me sitting idle and AFK, but still.

edit: I'm lucky to clock in 10 hours of gaming a week now. Which isn't all bad. I'm making money instead of wasting time. And I'm up and moving around instead of vegging infront of a computer.

I have quite a bit of free time myself but then again I'm single with few friends. So I have a lot of time to pursue my interests in aviation, poker, video games, etc.

FWIW, I play some games throughout the week. Chess mainly, but I throw in a good 45 minute game of BF2 a few times a week. Good times.

Hmmmmmmm...

I just want my back better properly so I can train harder and not have to take it easy...

I have FF8, FF9 and FF10 and haven't played any of them. I guess I can't be bothered and I want to train. I should play MGS2 though as I bought that a while back but never got around to playing it because the dam Jap or American version of MGS2 that I saved to won't play on my dam UK one!

Yup. I realized the same thing some time ago. I had a high-paying job, but no time to enjoy the income etc. Now I have a low paying job with few hours but time to enjoy life and my son etc.

I'm all grown up (sometimes) and due to the choices I've made am able to enjoy my life rather than waste away like most people.

Tips:
- Use condoms. Better yet, get snipped.
- Women are only good for one thing. Sucking the lifeblood out of your wallet.

I'm only 26 but I learned a long time ago that job satisfaction and quality of life mean much more than the exact number of dollars flowing in.

I'm 26 as well, and to me it's about how you make your money work for you. If more money opens up other opportunities that you wouldn't otherwise have then it's worth it, imo.

Of course, if you enjoy your work it's all the better. I enjoy my work probably 50% of the time.

You don't have time to take a dump either? Best time to catch up on gaming is when you're at the can taking a dump. "Yeah honey, I'll be right out. That burrito is killing me."
