Being a grown-up sucks

I miss the days when I didn't worry about rent, car payments, insurance, etc. After watching FF7: Advent Childern, I feel like playing FF, but obviously don't have time to. Heck I have every single FF thru FFX, but never got a chance to open them.

yeah it does suck. but at least as a adult you can afford to buy those games you never play!

thats a good dose of irony...now that i can afford them, i don't have the time nor attention span to play them.

Depends, I'm an adult, but I'm a poor college adult. 🙁

You'd think that would be cool, but it's like owning pictures of women that you can't sleep with.

Thats like owning pictures of the games. Its more like having your dream women throw themselves at your feet only to see that your **** has been cut off.

I've just tempered my game playing. Mostly play either with my son or at night when everybody is in bed. I also rent now more instead of buy (free blockbuster rental coupons help).

I can rarely justify playing video games anymore, as much as I'd love to. I can almost always find something to do that is more fulfilling.

It seems as if the older I get and the more money I make, my disposable income keeps going down! I swear I think I had more money when I was 16 working part time then I do now being close to 30 and working professionally.

Right now, I work around six hours a day during the week, have very few responsibilities each month, am going to be taking one summer class, and work a couple days on the weekends.

My only problem is which game to play.

haha... i manage my time well... usually work 8-10 hour days... still get my gaming in and all my extra ciricular activities golf, excersise, whatever... i find my self having more fun than i did in college, 🙂.

i guess it does help not having a gf to nag me to do things, 🙂

I usually play after the kids are in bed for a few hours. Now the wifes jumped on the bandwagon, and she plays at night as well.

I shed a couple tears.

Oh and if you guys want to be real depressed about gaming time. Install Xfire because it keeps track of how many hours you play. When it comes back after a week telling you you played 2 hours you will realize just how little time you actually have anymore.

i guess it just happens. get jaded..read more reviews than play games lol🙂
ff games are just make work level up bs anyways.

Nintendo DS on breaks is a godsend. Great games that are perfect for short bursts of playing. Brain Age rocks!

I love being a young adult. Financial constraints don't limit my interests, I'm not restricted to anything by age, I'm no longer perceived as a kid by other adults, I'm at the point in my career where it's no longer a concern about my age, and the list goes on.

FWIW, I play some games throughout the week. Chess mainly, but I throw in a good 45 minute game of BF2 a few times a week. Good times.
