One of the counties around here raised the minimum age to buy tobacco to 19.
 
You shouldn't be able to vote that young, IMO. Nobody has a clue when they're 18, myself included. (years ago)

When I was 18, you could buy beer.

Oh, and now you can go to the local drive in and watch the pron flicks.

For instance in MN gambling in casinos and buying lottery tickets is 18. It's 21 here in AZ though...so it can be different in different places.

Here in Florida the Miccosukee Indian reservations allow gambling at age 18, and I'm not sure but I think some of the casino ships also allow it in international waters.

I guess to that I would say, yeah but depending on the state, no he can't.
 
Nothing really changes when you hit 18. Everything yuo can legally do when you are 18 I expect you have done already.

If you waited to be 18 before you did anything v18, then you've lost out on some excitement.

Yes, he can. If he can physically do it, he can do it. However, he may have to face some undesirable consequences.
