Beijing or Shanghai....which would you choose for a two-day quick stop?

I am young, and my friends are rich, just spent 10 days there in late dec

Shanghai is just like any big Western city.

Goto Beijing if u wanna see the Chinese culture and history. Goto Shanghai if you wanna party and get laid.

i saw a special on shanghai on discovery hd, the city looks awesome.

if you could pic other places in china I would goto Hong/Maccau!

Shanhai is a modern city with one of the best skylines in the world (more towers going up in Shanghai than anywhere on earth). Beijing is modernizing because of the Olympics but it also has a lot of ancient sites there too. Hong Kong would be the best option I think, you can get a lot of things for cheap there plus it has the best skyline in the world (Shenzen with another awesome skyline is near it).
