Isn't the whole point of a salad to get away from red meats and fatty fat fat:p? I could call a hamburger a salad too:).

looks good, but the time you spent arranging the tomatoes could have been spent eating it.

yup

spinach, avacado, chopped up green chilli, fresh tomatoes (from the stem), butter sauteed baby shitake mushrooms and white onions, lemon juice

the beef ribs were marinated with teryaki sauce and crushed red chillis, salt and pepper

washed down with a couple of Brooklyn Lagers (local stuff)

Humans are omnivores.

More than that, there is theory that we wouldnt BE human without meat. That is, if you follow evolutionary cortical development.

His salad may very well have less fat than a Caeser the way those things are loaded with dressing...

Looks beautiful.

I see your tastes and mine are similar--I can't stand the green slime in tomatoes either.

It's free of harmful bacteria, unless he did something stupid like perforate the meat.

Nah. I'd rather my meat taste like meat, not leather :)

no kidding. i went out with my parents a few weeks ago and my dad got prime rib, medium-rare at this place.

he kept offering me some, i declined and declined and finally had a bite: perfect. melted in my mouth. i know what ill be having next time i go to this place. it was Tuscon's in Salina, KS, fwiw.
