I think the bearings would be the only part you'd have to leave Home Depot to get.

Could easily calculate muzzle velocity from the length and rotational speed of the blade. Looks like it packs quite a wallop. Deadly even.

Since it is activated by closing electrical contacts, this opens the door to a sentinel turret. Raspberry Pi anyone?
