I always view it as, if your goal is to get exercise, what does weight matter? Your not getting paid to ride after all. Nto saying to buy a bike at Wal-Mart, but $4100 is insane.

I have a Schiwnn 4-banger by the way. $2100 when I bought it. I wouldn't do it again. But I can see spending $900-%1500 on another bike one day.
 
lightest hockey stick is made of graphite / kevlar. I have a titanium stick and it's much heavier. 😕
