Latest SoftFSB here.. It works if you follow above instructions precisely.
You are probably targeting PLL-IC. Create new mobo profile and target mobo.
Another way to make it work is to change fsb BIOS setting back to 100.
Then all overclocking will be done by SoftFSB.

There is another program CPUFSB.. It works but its less user-friendly.
Either way you wont get too much from P2 because CPU cache is not on die but on PCB.
Cache on PCB is the bottleneck, thats why PPGA Celerons overcklock so much better.
If you disable cache in BIOS then CPU will go much higher but performance is pathetic.

BTW you can get big gain by overclocking memory. What boot screen tells about memory ,
and whats memory BIOS settings ? another program CPUFSB.
