Beginner Networker Needs Help...

Hi i have 2 computers i want to connect, i have a 3com 10/100 ethernet adapter in each, if i dont want to use a hub what kind of cable do i need? (cross-over)??? If crossover where can i get it, i looked a circuit city, radio skack, and best buy??

If you have access to a crimping tool get yourself a couple of RJ-45 connectors and some cat5 and make one yourself. Really quite simple.
