Before i spend a lotta money on a 350 watt ps

Can anyone tell me if 300 watt ps is sufficient?

I'm currently running:

axia 1 ghz t-bird (not oc'd)
Global Win WBK38 HSF
MSI K7T Turbo Raid MB
CD-Rom
CD-RW
1 HD (soon to upgrade to 2 hd's to use in Raid 0)
Floppy
couple of USB Peripherals
2 fans

Problem is right now. I have a CompUSA cheapo 300 watt PS. when i add peripherals or do anything i get instabilities. I think problem is the ps. i've checked everything else. Now my question is should i buy an Enermax 300 or an Enermax 350??

An Enermax 300 should do it. The compusa one is cheap stuff. I've seen a lot of people with a setup like yours using a Enermax 300w.

the compusa brand is antec, those are good power supplys, get the antec 400 watt that should work well. i believe the 400 is only about 80 bucks.

well i think 300 should do you...ofcorse you could do the math...lol....but more importantly a good ps will give "clean" juice to your system...that you should notice if the ps you have now really is crappy.

More is usually better so if you are worried get a bigger power supply. I have a 1.2 Athlon (OCed), CD, CDRW, HD, floppy, ZIP, 6 case fans, HSF. 300W Antec with no problems.

I run 3 hard drives, CD, CDRW and 7 fans on an Antec 300 power supply, with no problems.
300 is more than enough.
Only go higher if you are going to run more than 3 hard drives.

i've been testing my machine w/ different voltages etc.

i think the problem was i had the voltage for cpu too low. i was running cpu at 1.47 volts. i've up it back to default and no problems in stability.

btw thanx for the responses
