Before I drive 356 miles does Microcenter and Frys have a lot of keyboards & mice

The Micro Center in Dallas had a keyboard with the various mechanical keys you could test, and had a few keyboards and mice on display. The majority of mechanical/gaming keyboards and mice were not on display, IIRC.

Fry's may have had a larger number of both on display, but no mechanical test keyboard like MC.

I still prefer trackballs.

Why not a Best Buy, Staples or Office Depot/Max? They usually have displays you can test, but not connected to any PC.
