Before flashing the BIOS, should I return to stock/default settings?

I'm thinking about flashing my BIOS (KT7-Raid). I'm currently overclocking w/raised CPU voltage. Should I return everything to stock before I flash? Thanks.

I have an Abit KT7A-Raid board overclocked with the oringinal ww bios that came with the motherboard and I just upgraded to the YH bios. I did not change my settings to default. Just put all files on bootable floppy, booted up and type in runme and it did the rest with no problems. Went into bios after restart and set all my settings. Hope this helps.

probably a prudent & safe option. I also disable my cpu cache to be on the extra safe side!
btw, make a backup copy of your present bios(option 1) before you try updating the bios! :)

The Abit BH6 will make changes in the default voltage settings, if the bios is flashed while other than default voltage is used. So, to be safe, reset the KT7 to non-overclocked, default voltage before bios flashing. (Unless new, higher default voltage settings is what you're trying to end up with.)
