You make it sound so easy. :p

Reality:

AHAHHAHHAHAHAHA OUCH AHHHHHHHHHHHH *runs with thousand of bees swarming*

Some people have a special touch though. My grandpa is like that. He can grab a whole hornets nest out of a tree with his bare hand and not get stung. I don't know how he does it.

The key: don't panic. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4CwGiLdiBkg
This was after I knocked a pile of bees into the box (including the queen.) A lot of them ended up in the air. The third time I did this, 100% of the bees were with the queen within 1 minute. I've yet to be stung since starting to do this.

Please don't kill them. I am sure you can find a local beekeeper to take them.

Honey bees would be the one insect I'd be in favor of not harming. But I'd also be trying to capitalize on it, or at least, call in someone who could use them and probably just do it as a free tip.

"anyone want some honey bees? They are right here - just remove them and they are all yours!"

I'm a wimp with stinging insects though. :D

But with so many issues going around with hives, I'd probably go a little out of my way to offer them up.

And most likely, they'll be gone in a day - they'll move about, gather together with their queen and rest for awhile, and then move on in search of a good home somewhere else. It's kind of like ducks/geese taking a rest in a pond during migration - they'll sit and chat and mess around, then be on their way in short order.

A swarm of bees are worth a huge amount in future profits.
Depends on the time of the year. There's a saying, swarm in May is worth a load of hay, a swarm in June is worth a silver spoon, a swarm in July — let them fly.

Though, I think it's possible to take a new swarm, connect it to an existing hive, with newspaper separating the two groups (they'll eat through the newspaper), and kill the new queen - then the swarm will merge with an existing hive. Though, I'm pretty new to this, and 95% ignorant on what the hell I'm doing with the bee hives.

looooooooooooool, I swear I'd just use it as an opportunity to see how fast I can drive before those bastards leave my rear view. Probably won't hurt the guys too much either.

Sounds like you are into beekeeping. That is pretty badass. I have been really thinking about it. Seems like something I could get into.

Not really "badass" at all to do it. 90% of the time, I look across the field at a couple of wooden boxes. Occasionally, I decide to open a box and see what's going on inside. And, sometimes when I'm doing that, the bees seem to say "gtfo!" without stinging me. A couple of them will divebomb my face, but they bounce off. I think that's a warning, rather than stinging me. Or, maybe they're trying to sting me and I'm simply invincible. Either way, if they say "gtfo", I listen.
