What would you do if you found that many bees on your car? The owner says that he had his window cracked as well as his moonroof. Animal control couldn't do anything about it so he had to have a volunteer come and collect them.

Yeesh, he goes on to say that on the way home, there were still bees in his car.

I have a lot of big bees flying around the back yard (the kind with the yellow fur with the black spot in the middle on the back) in the yard. First of all, what kind of bees are these??

Second, is there a way to safely get rid of them without killing them? I suspect they have made a home in the old boat shed because of the sheer numbers flying around that area and all over the yard. I can't even get into the garage next to the boat shed without being "guarded" by a bee to make sure I'm not agressive. I'm not afraid of them, since they won't sting unless provoked, but there are people here severely allergic to their sting, which concerns me.
