I recently went to a chain Mexican theme restaurant - Don Pablos as I had a free entree coupon.

Anyway I ordered a Mexican beer - Dos Equis Amber.
It arrived in this huge chunky glass goblet that weighed a ton, with a load of ice cubes floating around in it.

I had never seen beer served with ice before......
It was actually pretty good as this is a pretty light refreshing beer anyway

Is ice served in beer a common occurence????

the thought of it sounds weird, and I am sure in most beers it would be

tasted pretty good in this one though

Beer with ice is teh nasty.

Btw.. they're just scamming you. Beer + ice in a cup equals less beer.

I have never been served beer with ice.. but I have done it before myself. If a beer is warm and I want to drink it, I prefer to drink it with ice then drike it warm
