ok I give up, Im just gonna go and stare at the long list of beers they have like I always do, and eventually pick one.

Sam Adams black is good stuff, Summer ale is nice on hot days, PBR isnt bad but a little flat tasting, I'd pick Red Dog or Icehouse over that.

Ah well, off I go

if by isnt bad, you mean the worst beer ever made, then I agree

Never had Keystone Light, Natty Light, Beast Light, or Schlitz, have we?

or any high gravity malts either aparently....

Avoid any beer with the terms Ice, Lite, or Light in the name.

Beast Ice does the job well enough (5.9% and doesn't taste nearly as bad as the ones I mentioned) and it's CHEAP. $10/30 rack is pretty hard to beat (no kegs on campus)

I've gotten a half barrel of Beast Ice here for $39.95

id take natty, keystone, or beast over PBR any day of the week. Schlitz is about on par with PBR though. That said, I havnt drank any of those beers since about junior year of my undergrad.

I stick to guinness, red stripe, bass, and yuengling for myself

I wouldnt really consider those beers. Ever try a Bull Ice 40? Its one of the more foul tasting substances ever to enter my mouth. But its got close to 9% alcohol, and only costs $2. Drinking 3 of these is roughly equivalant to 18 regular beers. Ive only managed it once. Usually I am wasted after two of them, and pass out while drinking the third. Ahh, the college memories..

Wow that's pretty cheap. I think Icehouse around here, for a 12 of cans, is in the $7s.

Best deal I've come across was when I was at school, $9.99 for a 24 case of bottles of Old Milwaukee.
